Every day we are required to make many big or small decisions

from the simple choice of a good or service to buy, to a brand or a figure to trust.Often we find ourselves in the position of wanting to make choices that we believe are morally closer to us and to the environment but often these would have an inaccessible cost, in time, resources or a thousand other reasons. Possible compromises do not always satisfy our principles deeply.

The crisis caused by the Coronavirus in 2020 has highlighted the close link between climate change, which is often the cause of some of our wrong choices, and pandemics. The various governments have approached the crisis in an absolutely independent if not downright antithetical way, but at the same time many individuals have instead started to experience a strong sensation of planetary interconnection.

In addition to the needs for food, safety, affection, self-fulfillment, people have begun to feel the need to fulfill moral needs more and more, to live uplifting emotions that coexist independently of achieving a conventional level of satisfaction.

This fact, supported by modern technology, has long been fertile ground for the birth and diffusion of real “digital activists”, who through different channels inquire about specific projects, express opinions, support them by making available skills, time and money.

The concept of “competition” between individuals, however, still leaves little room for models of cooperation and empathy, mainly due to the current economic paradigm, which increasingly concentrates wealth in the hands of a few. Within the economic life of each, the concept of adequate reward is grafted for us: people and businesses must be adequately recognized economically resources employed, talent, risk-taking, up to a “reasonable” economic benefit. Now imagine that the surplus of the value produced can be voluntarily invested for a common good: leveling social disparities, compensating for daily damage to the environment, educating people on these principles, generating value and well-being in difficult situations. We believe that protecting our planet and its inhabitants without distinction of fate is proof of civilization, and that it is a choice that can be made every day, by everyone, directly.

Greenchance is a non-profit association which proposes this alternative economic vision.

Greenchance’s mission is to generate economic processes in order to finance sustainability and / or compensation activities through the widest possible network of individuals and organizations.

The tools used for the Mission must be at hand, innovative, omnipresent, not involve costs or in any case not greater than those of the tools that are already used and, above all, they must offer everyone the opportunity to contribute to this process, simply through their use, for your everyday needs.

This means becoming part of the totality of human actions, given the current economic paradigm, exploiting the economic system for acts of freedom, of union between peoples, to protect the planet but above all

“Giving people the opportunity to be different by giving them a different context of action in which they no longer have to give up their green opportunity”

GreenChance acts to give anyone “the green opportunity” that is, the opportunity to make more moral decisions, in total freedom, in their daily lives, without having to compromise by helping the planet and spreading the fundamental rights of living beings.
